The SLI Effect

light installation
Image showing light sculpture.

There are those of us that venture out into the evening and carry within us an ancient glow that has the ability to silence the illuminated path in front of us. This powerful irradiance is not so much telekinesis as it is a calling for us to forge our own path. We are SLIders. We must not be reliant on what others have conveniently presented to us, but rather we must seek to observe what is not made plain. We do not fear what lurks in the shadows, we take comfort in its mystery. As the sodium vapors genuflect in our presence we are embolden by our duty and humbled by our calling.
